Hello, my name is Andrea L. and I'm the songwriter behind LOVE THE GHOST.

 

This music is quite “dramatic”, both musically and lyrically and the format is the classic POP formula (3-4 minutes, verse/chorus and instrumental breaks). Themes are somewhat dark and/or moody in subject matter as they’re usually inspired by my own experiences layered with stories and/or imagery that somehow affected me. The creative process is very cathartic because I get to express, and exorcise, some very strong feelings in a constructive way, hence probably the reason why this music sounds so “dramatic” to me.

All in all, I feel that these songs are extremely honest, and they portray a part of me with utmost sincerity accompanied by the dreamy sounds and dark atmospheres that I enjoy.
